Dr. Christopher Kim is a board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on collaboration and clinical excellence. He currently practices at the Houston Regional Gastroenterology Institute.
Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Houston Methodist Hospital.
His clinical interests include a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, such as GERD, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Barrett's Esophagus, peptic ulcer disease, colorectal cancer screening, and more. Dr. Kim performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy and EGD, with a special focus on conditions like achalasia, eosinophilic esophagitis, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
