Dr. Yazan Abu Qwaider is a physician with over 20 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Advanced Endoscopy. He began his journey in medicine at Dagestan State Medical Academy. Upon graduation, he worked for two years at Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem.
Dr. Qwaider then set his sights on the United States, where he advanced his career in medicine by completing his internship at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He then moved to Texas, where he finished his residency in Internal Medicine followed by Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Qwaider’s expertise and dedication to his field has led him to become an assistant professor of Internal Medicine. Throughout his career, he has helped countless patients through his compassion, knowledge, and skill. Dr. Qwaider joined Houston Regional Gastroenterology in 2024 and continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those he serves.
